Pond Equipment

This is our Oase filter, which is more than enough for our pond. This filter will easily handle a 2000 gallon pond, but ours is only 1500 gallons.  This picture shows the inside of the filter box, maintenance includes pulling the handles up while releasing water out the back side.  The green stuff on the top is what comes out of the outlet.  We release this backwashing water into the garden, and it fertilizes the plants with the best type of all.  The plants are very happy.  The upright (vertical) piping houses the UV light, which disinfects and kills harmful bacteria that makes it into the pond.
